Maintenance
Check the engine oil level every time before starting the engine and refill if necessary.
When the machine is used for the very first time, change the engine oil after 10 hours
of operation. Thereafter, change the engine oil after every 100 hours of operation, or
at least once per year.
Clean the air filter as required.
Ensure that the engine belt is correctly tensioned at all times.
•
First, loosen the four fitting bolts.
•
Next, tighten equally the two adjustment brackets (no. 36 and no. 38 on the
exploded view drawing).
•
Once the engine belt is tensioned, re-tighten securely the engine fitting bolts.
The cutter belt is automatically adjusted to the correct tension by a spring-loaded
tensioning wheel.
The three bearings on the blade axles must be lubricated after every 10 hours of
operation.
