Image Region of Interest
The Image Region of Interest (ROI) feature allows you to specify a portion of the
sensor array. You can acquire only the frame data from the specified portion of the
sensor array while preserving the same quality as you acquire a frame from the
entire sensor array. With the ROI feature, you can achieve increased frame rates
by decreasing the height (i.e Y-axis) of the ROI; however, decreasing the width (i.e
X-axis) of the ROI does not affect the frame rate. The ROI is referenced to the top
left corner [origin (0, 0)] of the sensor array Table 9 shows some sample ROI
Vertical for the reference.

Sample ROI Height Settings
The Frame Rate and Exposure Time Formula is as below.
Operation Clock = 50 MHz
Line Length = 302 (Full Mode) / 255 (Full Plus Mode) / 608 (Medium mode)
808 (Base 8bit mode) / 1216 (Base 10,12bit mode)
Max Frame Time = (1 / Operation Clock) * (ROI_ 12) * Line Length
Max Exposure Time = (1 / Operation Clock) * Line Length * ROI_Height
Max Frame Rate = 1 / Frame Time
