OXE 150/200 HP SERVICE MANUAL

CHECK POWER TILT AND TRIM UNIT

5.

Tilt the outboard completely up and down a couple of times and check that
the trim and tilt system operates smoothly. Check the hydraulic fluid if
necessary. Also check wear of pistons and joints.

NOTE!

Check if the Power-tilt-and-trim (PTT) motors make abnormal

sounds.

!

CAUTION!

The outboard can belowered by carefully turning manual valve, should the
electric system fail.
Ensure that the manual valve is tightened before starting the outboard.
