REMOVING AND INSTALLING BEARINGS AND OIL

SEALS IN THE BEARING HOUSING

Refer to

Gearbox disassembling

Special tools

30-0160-004 Puller tool

30-0160-025 ODT Remover Oil Seal

Put the bearing housing on a working bench.

Use the puller tool

(1)

to remove the bearing

(2)

Remove the O-ring

(3)

and replace with a new.

Turn the bearing housing up-side-down.

Remove bearing

(4)

Use the Oil seal remover

(6)

to remove the oil seals

(5)

, 2 pcs.

Check bearings

(2, 4)

. for wear and/or damage. Replace if necessary.
