Tape Requirements

Cartridge Handling and Storage

•

Store the tape cartridge vertically until you select it for use.

•

Do not expose a cartridge to moisture or direct sunlight.

•

Maintain a clean, dust-free working and storage environment.

If You Drop a Cartridge

Inspect it carefully before inserting it into a magazine or drive.

Shake the cartridge while listening for the sound of a broken part. Any rattling sound
renders a cartridge unusable.

Inspect the case for distortion or cracks.
