12.  BATTERY REPLACEMENT

When the “

” indicator begins to blink in the display, replace the internal battery pack according to the

following procedure:

①   Remove the windowed cover of the preamplifier.

⑤   Take off two screws ② holding the battery pack

to the preamplifier housing, using screwdriver.

CAUTION

Exercise care to avoid losing the two screws ② as

they are removed.

⑥   Pull the battery pack out.
⑦   Secure a new battery pack to the preamplifier

housing with two screws ②.

⑧   Install the battery pack connector ① securely in

place.

⑨   Turn on the “POWER” switch on the display

board.
NOTE:  Make  sure  that  the  display  shows  a

flowrate reading.

⑩   Install the preamplifier's windowed cover and

terminal box cover.

CAUTION

The cover must be screwed in as far as it will go for

tight installation.

③   Remove the cover on the terminal box side of

preamplifier.

④   Unplug the battery pack connectort ①.

②   Turn off the “POWER” switch (SW1-4) on the

display baord. This interrupts power supply from
the battery.

CAUTION

Do not fail to turn the “POWER” switch off at

internal battery replacement.
