7.9.1 Installing and adjusting the anti-tipper

Incorrect installation of the anti-tipper

Verify that the anti-tipper has been installed and adjusted properly. Find the appropriate position with the
assistance of a helper.
Installing the anti-tipper
1) Pull the end cap off the frame tube (see fig. 55).
2) Insert the anti-tipper in the frame tube and install the cotter pin (see fig. 53).
Adjusting the anti-tipper
The anti-tipper is not adjustable.
7.9.2 Installing and adjusting transport wheels
Installing the transport wheels
1) Pull the end cap off the frame tube (see fig. 55).
2) Slide the transport wheels into the frame tube and install the cotter pin (see fig. 25, item 1).
Adjusting the transport wheels
1) Loosen the Allen head screws (see fig. 25, item 2).
2) Adjust the transport wheels to the same height. In doing so, adjust the height so the transport wheels do not
contact the floor when the drive wheels are mounted.
3) Tighten the Allen head screws to

7.9.3 Installing the crutch holder
1) Set the crutch holder onto the rear frame tube and screw it on with the clamp bracket (installation example: see
fig. 26, item 1).
2) Loosen the Phillips head screw on the back support upholstery (see fig. 27, item 1). Set on the hook-and-loop
strap and mount it on the back support tube with the Phillips head screw.
