transporting persons with reduced mobility. In vehicles for transporting persons with reduced mobility, use
the seats installed in the vehicle with the corresponding personal restraint systems instead.

In particular, products with custom fabrication SBK 24833.007 have a pronounced forward pre-tilt and are
not approved for use as a seat in vehicles for transporting persons with reduced mobility.

Note that the back support tilts together with the seat and may be tilted forward at a negative pre-tilt.
► If necessary, tilt the back support slightly to the rear before lowering the power seat tilt to the negative range.
Make sure that the user can sit with the upper body upright even when the seat tilt is negative.
4 Use
The pre-tilt was selected and set for the user in consultation with the qualified personnel. This is intended to
provide the best possible ergonomics for the user.
The product is equipped with a drive stop (safety shutoff):

With negative pre-tilt:
For driving, the seat has to be brought at least to the horizontal position using the
power seat tilt. Otherwise, the drive stop prevents driving.
•
With positive pre-tilt:
While driving, the seat may not be tilted back more than 45° using the power seat tilt.
Otherwise, the drive stop prevents driving.
• Releasing the drive stop: If the angle is negative, simply bring the seat surface to the horizontal position, at
least 0°. If the angle is > 45°, simply bring the seat surface to an angle < 45°.
While using the product as a seat in a vehicle for transporting persons with reduced mobility, the power seat tilt
must always be moved to the lowest position (fully retracted). Products with a forward pre-tilt of the seat exceeding
3° (pre-tilt < -3°) may not be used as a seat in vehicles for transporting persons with reduced mobility.

Le présent document s’applique aux fabrications spéciales SBK 24833.000, SBK 24833.004, SBK 24833.005,
SBK 24833.006, SBK 24833.007.
2 Description du produit
L’inclinaison de l’assise a été préréglée vers l’avant (négative) ou vers l’arrière (positive) en raison de la fabrication
spéciale et de modifications de la conception du logement du siège. L’angle du pré-réglage de l’inclinaison
d’assise a été défini lors de la commande. Si la bascule de l’assise électrique est déplacée sur la position la plus
basse, le siège complet et toutes les pièces rapportées se trouvent par défaut inclinés à cet angle. Les angles pou­
vant être choisis pour le pré-réglage de l’inclinaison d’assise dépendent du produit et de la référence de la fabrica­
tion spéciale (SBK).
La bascule de l’assise électrique fonctionne comme décrit dans la notice d’utilisation. Une coupure de sécurité
supplémentaire empêche le déplacement lorsque l’angle est inférieur à 0° ou supérieur à 45°. Avant toute utilisa­
tion, familiarisez-vous avec le produit et la fabrication spéciale. L’utilisateur ou l’accompagnateur doit demander au
personnel spécialisé de lui expliquer comment utiliser le produit.

Le siège est incliné vers l’avant.
Le pré-réglage de l’inclinaison d’assise négative facilite
la montée de l’utilisateur.
