The 446B10 Push Button Lap Belt is to be used exclusively to support
correction of the sitting posture and positioning of the user in a wheelchair
or seating system.
Attention: This seat belt does not replace the safety belt in a car when
transporting patients.
2 Description and Function
The 446B1 Seat Belt provides postural support by holding the pelvic area
in place in the seating system. Seat belts should be used with all seating
systems, but are essential when any upper torso or head support system is
used. The strap is available in two widths - 35 mm and 50 mm. It is length
adjustable in order to ensure safe and correct positioning of the patient.
