3 Intended use
3.1 Indications for use
The orthotic knee joints are to be used
exclusively
in pairs to provide orthot­
ic treatment for a patient’s lower limbs.
3.2 Indications
• Partial or total paralysis of the leg muscles
• Orthopaedic diseases of the lower limbs
Indications must be determined by the physician.
3.3 Restrictions for use
Only use the 17B95=L/R16 and 17B96=16 orthotic knee joints up to a body
weight of
max. 50 kg
.
3.4 Lifetime
The product is designed for a lifetime of 3 years when used as intended and
assembled professionally.
