Mounting the foot stirrup
1) Insert the foot stirrup into the orthotic ankle joint and assemble it with the
joint screws and the bearing nut.
2) Clean the threads of the screw connections using a degreasing cleaner
and secure them with Loctite 241.
The individual combination possibilities for the stop pin and compression
spring are used to adapt the orthotic ankle joint to the patient.
Mounting the compression spring
1) Insert the ball, compression spring and cylinder pin into the threaded
hole, one after the other (see fig. 1).
INFORMATION: The cylinder pin
prevents excessive compression of the compression spring.
2) Screw the set screw into the threaded hole and set the spring force of
the orthotic joint.
3) Clean the threads of the screw connections using a degreasing cleaner
and secure them with Loctite 241.
Mounting the stop pin
1) Insert the stop pin into the threaded hole.
2) Screw the set screw into the threaded hole and set the angle adjustment
of the orthotic joint.
3) Clean the threads of the screw connections using a degreasing cleaner
and secure them with Loctite 241.
6 Cleaning
System joints must be cleaned promptly after contact with water containing
salt, chlorine or soap, or when they get dirty.
1) Rinse system joints with clean fresh water.
2) Dry system joints with a cloth or allow to air dry. Avoid exposure to direct
heat (e.g. from an oven or radiator).
7 Maintenance
INFORMATION
The product may be exposed to increased loads by the patient.
► Shorten the maintenance intervals according to the expected loads.
The manufacturer requires at least a semi-annual inspection of the product
to verify functionality and check for wear.
Corresponding service sets can be ordered for servicing the product.

Only use 633F7 special lubricant.
