1 Application and description
The Electric Wrist Rotator 10S17 is to be exclusively used for installation into
arm prostheses. It controls the pronation and supination of the System Electric
Hand or System Electric Greifer with quick-disconnect unit. Rotation of more
than 360° is possible.
The 10S17 Electric Wrist Rotator is designed exclusively for use on one pa-
tient. Use of the product by other persons is not approved by the manufacturer.
The Electric Wrist Rotator can be operated in combination with the Myo
Rotronic 13E205.
In case muscular tension is not sufficient, it may also be controlled by the Har-
ness Pull Switch 9X14, the Traction Switch 9X18 or the Rocker Switch 9X25.
2 Safety instructions
Failure to follow the safety instructions given below can lead
to damage to or malfunction of the product. Follow the safety
instructions and the precautions specified in this accompany-
ing document.
• Keep the product away from the immediate vicinity of active implantable
systems (e.g. pacemakers, defibrillators etc.) since electromagnetic
radiation may cause temporary interference.
• If the distance to HF communication devices (e.g. mobile phones, Blue-
tooth devices, WiFi devices) is too small, interference with internal data
communications can result in malfunctions of the electric wrist rotator.
Maintaining the following minimum distances to these HF communication
devices is recommended:
