appears as shown in Table 5.

stimulation, the general parameter /
options settings, the parameters of the
cardiac resynchronization therapy
(CRT), the automatic settings feature,
the recall of standard programs, the lead
impedance measurement, and further
parameter settings and options can be
accessed.

menu always returns to the Main Menu.

9.2.6 Display Backlight

Both the upper and lower displays are
backlit. The backlight is deployed as long
as the device is unlocked.
After 30 seconds without any user op-
eration (rotation of dials or pressing
keys), the backlight is automatically
turned off for battery power saving. This
occurs in parallel upon locking the dials
and keys.
If the battery voltage decreases below a
specified battery depletion level, the
backlight is automatically deactivated
and will not be turned on again until the
battery has been replaced.

9.2.7 LEDs for Sensing and Stimula-
tion

To the left of the upper display there are
four LEDs for indicating atrial and ven-
tricular sensing and stimulation events.
The LEDs for indicating sensing flash
green and those for indicating stimula-
tion flash yellow.
All LEDs appear bright shortly after turn-
ing on PACE 203H to verify that they are
operational.
