Troubleshoot ESM Faults

Troubleshoot ESM Faults

An ESM failure can be caused by a faulty ESM riser, the ESM itself, or both. You must use

ILOM to determine which components have failed. Refer to the ILOM 3.0 documentation for

more information about the following task.

Use the ILOM CLI to log in to the server as

root

and type the following command

to display ESM riser faults:

show /SYS/ESMR

Type the following command to display ESM faults:

show /SYS/ESMR/ESM

Depending on the faults, consider your next tasks:

If the ESM riser has failed, replace the ESM riser.
