CMIOU Configurations (SPARC M8-8 and SPARC M7-8 With One PDomain)

CMIOU Configurations (SPARC M8-8 and SPARC M7-8 With

One PDomain)

A SPARC M8-8 and SPARC M7-8 server that is configured as a single PDomain can have as

many as eight CMIOUs in a single CMIOU chassis, as listed in the following table.

The following configurations are supported on a SPARC M8-8 and SPARC M7-8 server that

has one PDomain.

Note -

The SPARC M7-8 server with one PDomain does not support SPARC M8 CMIOUs.

SPARC M7 CMIOUs are not supported in SPARC M8-8 servers. See

Caution -

To prevent overheating, fill unused CMIOU slots with CMIOU filler panels.
