Rotate the Drive Cage to the Service Position

Rotate the Drive Cage to the Service Position

Complete these prerequisites in this order.

■

“Remove the Top Cover” on page 77

■

“Remove a Fan Module” on page 132

Remove all fan modules.

■

“Remove the Fan Tray” on page 80

Disconnect the cables attached to the drive backplane, and the cable attached to

the USB board.

The cables are shown in the illustration in

“System Cable Configuration” on page 156

Note -

Depending on your server's configuration, you might not have the DVD SATA cable,or

the NVMe drive cables as seen in the illustration.

Fully loosen the four screws securing the drive cage to the chassis.
