1. Access Oracle ILOM.
See “Access the SP (Oracle ILOM)” on page 28 .
2. Display faulty components.

If a fault is found, information about the fault is displayed under three columns:
■
Target
– A numerical subtarget of the
/SP/faultmgmt
fault management instance. For
example,
/SP/faultmgmt/0/faults/0
.
■
Property
– FRUID-type properties or parameters of the faulted component or the fault
itself. For example, FRU, class, MSGID, UUID, timestamp, and so on.
■
Value
– The value of the property. For example, the IPMI name, fault class categorization,
message ID, and so on.
This is an example of a faulty power supply:
Note -
The characters
SPT
at the beginning of the message ID indicate that the fault was
detected by Oracle ILOM.
Note -
The
component
property provides the Oracle ILOM target of the component that
faulted and might need to be replaced. You can use the information in the table of “Resettable
Targets” on page 51 to further identify the component that faulted.
