3. CONFIGURATION
FAIL contacts, priority output contacts (pin 6 of RJ45
connectors), the connection of pin 8 of RJ45 to GND or the
connection of pin 8 to the equipment earth can be configured
via internal jumpers and Dipswitches.

FAIL Contacts: Open collector output (factory setup). May be
configured as a voltage free contact. See figures 3 and 6, and
the configuration tables on the next page.

Priority output contacts: Open collector output (factory
setup). May be configured as a voltage free contact. See
figures 4 and 6, and the configuration tables on the next
page.

Connection to ground (GND) of pin 8 and the shield of
connectors RJ45. Factory setup: Connected. See figures 4 and
6.

Connection to to earth of the equipment of pin 8 and the
shield of connector RJ45. Factory setup: Connected. See
figures 4 and 6.
To access these internal jumpers and DIP switches, it is
necessary to separate the circuit from the module as shown in
figure 5.
