I/O Output
8.1 Select Output Signal
The camera has multiple differential output lines or bi-directional configurable lines. The bi-
directional line configuration as output is the following:
Steps:
1. Click
Digital IO Control
, and select specific line as
Line Selector
.
2. Set
Strobe
as
Line Mode
.
3. (Optional) Set
Line Format
according to the desired value. Differential stands for
differential signal.

If a bi-directional line is set as

, you cannot set
Strobe
as
Line Mode
. The reason is that
the bi-directional configurable line signal is selected as trigger source in one of line trigger/frame
trigger/shaft encoder control/ frequency converter control settings. You should set other line
signals as trigger source in line trigger/frame trigger/shaft encoder control/ frequency converter
control settings all.
8.2 Set Output Signal
The output signal of the camera is a signal used to control external devices such as alarm light, light
source and PLC. There are two ways to achieve output signal, including line inverter and strobe
signal.
8.2.1 Enable Line Inverter
