Check
The saw band is to be tensed during the readjustment.

Adjust the carbide guide (14).

The sides of the band saw band should rest slightly
against the guide bearings (15). If necessary, read-
just the guide bearings (15) by turning.

Proceed in the same way for setting the other saw
band guide.

Gear
Oil change
The gearbox is filled with Mobilgear 636 high perfor-
mance gear oil.

Lift the saw bow completely.

Remove the oil drain plug at the bottom end of the
gear. Use an adequate vessel with enough capacity
to collect the oil.

Open the fuel filter cap for a better ventilation.

Refill the gear with gear oil having the saw bow com-
pletely lowered.

Fill the gear with about 1,5 liters gear oil.

INFORMATION
Have the metal band saw run for a few min-
utes before starting the oil change. The oil
warms up and flows more easily through the
outlet.
