Introduction to the installation
The magnetic tape consists of three parts:
A. This part of the magnetized steel strip ensures flexibility during installation and transport.

damage.

C. The non-magnetic mounting surface strips (C) protect the tape (B) from external magnetic

the double-sided adhesive tape on the side (C) and glue the tape into the installation groove of
the machine.

You should note the following when installing on the surface of the machine:
Surface to be glued: The tape must be stuck to a clean, smooth and dry machine surface. A
suitable solvent for cleaning is a 50% alcohol solvent.
Bonding: A stable bond is based directly on a good surface contact.
Bonding temperature: The best sticking temperature is 21 ° C to 38 ° C. Avoid sticking
when the surface temperature is below 10 ° C, because in this case the glue gets hard and
it is difficult to ensure the sticking effect. After the correct bonding, the correct adhesive sta-
bility can be guaranteed even at a temperature below 0 °. The final gluing result is shown
72 hours after gluing at 21 ° C.
Cable:
The bending diameter must be greater than 50 mm.
Keep the cable away from motors, electrical lines and magnetic switches that generate
magnetic fields.
If you cannot keep the cable away from a power cord. Avoid laying the cable parallel to the
power cable.
Reading head:
Permissible tolerance for mounting the scale reading head.
Pay attention to the sensor position when mounting the read head.
Read head with a standard distance to the tape: 1 mm
