4.2 Control panel
INFORMATION
The control system switches off, once the feed is activated when the spindle is in coun-
ter clockwise operation.
Pay attention to the correct phase sequence for the electrical connection of the machine.
For machines equipped with a three-phase AC plug with phase inverter, change the
phase sequence at the three-phase current plug.
Push button for spindle rotation direction
Switches the spindle rotational direction (1).
Push button thread tapping

Set the drill depth stop and then switch to the tapping operating mode.
Enables or disables the thread tapping mode (2).
In the thread cutting mode the engine automatically starts up according to a predefined path
over the drilling depth stop and automatically changes the turning direction as soon as the
predefined depth had been achieved. The screw-tap is drawn out of the workpiece.
Push button ON
The push button ON (3) switches on the rotation of
the drilling spindle.
Push button Off
The push button OFF (4) switches the rotation of the
drilling spindle off.
Push button L
The push button L (5) switches on the low rotation of
the drilling spindle.
Push button H
The push button H (6) switches on the high rotation of the drilling spindle.
Machine illumination ON / OFF
Switches the illumination (7).
Coolant pump ON / OFF
Switches the coolant pump (8).
Master switch
Interrupts or connects the power supply.
4.2.1 Drill depth stop
ATTENTION!
Always clamp the drill depth stop in the uppermost position when the stop is not
needed. Switching to the tapping operating mode can cause operating errors.


Use the drilling depth stop when drilling several holes of the same depth.

Adjust the desired drilling depth by means of the scale and of the clamping lever.
