5 How to Remove & Install Parts

5.1

How to replace the Expansion card?

If you need to replace the Expansion, interface card or install a new Expansion interface card, follow these steps below:

Turn off the Expansion chassis first. Disconnect the power cord.

Unscrew the Expansion interface card.

Install new Expansion interface card.

Plug-in the Expansion interface card into PCIE slot#3. This is the designated slot for the Expansion interface card. Installing the
Interface card into a non-designated slot can cause the system to malfunction.

5.2

How to remove the Fan?

Disconnect the Fan power cable assembly from the board using long-nosed pliers.

Remove the four mounting screws from the front panel.

Pull the front panel from the chassis.

Remove the four screws from the fan housing.

Pull the fan out.

Disconnect the Fan power cable assembly from the board using a long-nosed pliers.

Remove the four mounting screws from the front panel. Pull the front panel out from the chassis.
