A Communications Coupler Unit supplies the NX Unit power supply and I/O power supply to the NX
Units in the Slave Terminal.
There are the following types of NX-series power supply-related Units other than Communications Cou-
pler Units.
Refer to the NX-series System Unit User's Manual (Cat. No. W523) for details on NX-series power sup-
ply-related Units.
Refer to NX-series catalogs or OMRON websites, or ask your OMRON representative for information
on the most recent lineup of NX Units.

Supply Unit This NX Unit provides NX Unit power supply.
This NX Unit is used when the total power consumption of the NX Units in the Slave
Terminal exceeds the NX Unit power supply capacity of the Communications Cou-
pler Unit.
The I/O power supply for the Additional NX Unit Power Supply Unit is connected to
the NX Unit on the left through the NX bus connector.
