Troubleshooting Alarms and Errors
Restarting Special I/O Units
To restart operation after changing settings in the DM Area or after removing the cause of an error,
either turn the PLC's power supply OFF and ON or turn ON the Special I/O Unit Restart Bit.
• CS-series Special I/O Unit Restart Bits
• CJ-series Special I/O Unit Restart Bits
• If an error persists even though the power supply is turned OFF and ON or the Special I/O Unit Restart Bit is turned
ON, replace the ID Sensor Unit, Power Supply Unit, or CPU Unit.
