Replace a Drive
Use the following procedure to replace a drive.
Prepare the new drive.
Additional Information
• Refer to 1-4 Product Configuration on page 1-5 for the installed drive model.
• Refer to 2-9-4 HDD and SSD Storage Devices on page 2-20 for the available drive models.
• Refer to 4-1-7 Storage Device Specifications on page 4-7 for drive specifications.
To replace a drive:

Power OFF the IPC.

Remove the drive cover.

1) Push the lock lever

2) Tilt the cover

3) Remove the drive cover 3 .
Additional Information
• Refer to 2-6 Drive Bays on page 2-14 for the location of the drive cover.
• The IPC has 2 drive bays, marked with "A" and "B" at the left side of the drive cover. Take
note of the bay position for the drive that is being removed and do not place a drive in the
incorrect bay.
