5.2 Battery change
Please refer to the explanations in chapter Safety Instructions.
If the transmitter not used for a longer period (approx. 1-2 weeks), please remove the batteries to prevent
damage in case of battery leakage.
O
Remove the battery compartment cover. When replacing discharged batteries, remove the old batteries
from the battery compartment.
CAUTION!
Danger of explosion when battery is replaced improperly.
Only replace by the same type or similar types recommended by the manufacturer.
Remove empty battery in accordance with the instructions of the manufacturer.

Insert two 1.5 V mignon batteries (type AA) and make sure that the poles are correct.

Replace the battery compartment cover.
BATTERY DISPOSAL NOTICE
Please dispose of discharged batteries properly.
Batteries are hazardous waste and should not be disposed of with regular domestic waste!
Please take discharged batteries to a collection center near you.
6. OPERATION
1.
Switch on the receiver with the power on/off switch. The power indicator lights. Put the receiving antennas
in a vertical position
2. Switch on each transmitter with the power on/off switch. The lightring illuminates. On the receiver, the
respective RF LED lights up to indicate reception of a radio signal.
3. Switch on the following audio unit (e.g. amplifier).
4. Speak into the microphone and match the output level of the receiver to the input of the following unit with
the respective level control. On the receiver, the respective AF LED lights up to indicate that the
transmitter transmits an audio signal of sufficient level.
5. After operation switch off the receiver and the transmitter.
For optimum receiving please follow these instructions:
O
Maintain a line-of-sight between the transmitter and receiver antennas.
O
Avoid placing transmitter and receiver where metal or other dense materials may be present.
O
Avoid placing the receiver near computers or other RF generating equipment.
