6. OPERATION
6.1 Selecting the transmission and receiving frequency
The wireless transmission is made in the frequency range of 863 - 865 MHz and is divided into the following
16 channels with preset frequencies:

The transmitter and the receiver must be set to the same frequency, otherwise signal transmission will not be
possible. As some frequencies may already be reserved by other users of wireless systems, we recommend
to adjust the desired frequency on the receiver before the transmitter is switched on. If one or more
segments of the reception indication are shown on the display, a signal is received on this frequency. Thus a
different frequency should be selected in order to avoid interference.
6.1.1 Multichannel operation
Several transmission systems transmitting on different channels can be used at the same time. The best
transmission quality is generally achieved with a combination of the first four channels (highlighted in gray):
channel 1, 2 and 3 or channel 1, 2 and 4. The number of channels which can be used in parallel depends on
the distance between the individual transmission systems (at least 1 m distance between the transmitters)
and local conditions (e.g. RF interference sources).
6.2 Adjusting the frequency on the receiver
1
Switch on the receiver by turning the level control from the left stop. The display will
show the channel number and the corresponding receiving frequency adjusted last.
2
Unfold the front cover and repeatedly press the button SET. The setting menu will
be called with the second menu item "Channel" selected. On the display, CH and the current channel
number will be flashing.
3
Use the button
P
or
S
to select new channel number (1-16) and press the button SET to confirm your
selection. The display will indicate the current channel number and the corresponding receiving
frequency below.
4
Press the button ESC to exit the setting menu. After 15 seconds the setting procedure will also be
cancelled automatically.
6.3 Adjusting the frequency on the transmitter
1
Press the power switch 2 seconds to switch on the transmitter. The display
will show the channel number and the corresponding receiving frequency
adjusted last.
2
Repeatedly press the button SET. The setting menu will be called with the second menu item "Channel"
selected. On the display, CH and the current channel number will be flashing.
3
Use the button
P
or
S
to select new channel number (1-16) and press the button SET to confirm your
selection. The display will indicate the current channel number and the corresponding receiving
frequency next to it.
4
Press the button SET 2 seconds to exit the setting menu. By short actuation of the button the following
menu item is selected ( s. section 6.7). After 15 seconds the setting procedure will also be cancelled
automatically.
