4.3 TRS (Thermal Reference Source)
When the system is turned on, the TRS (Thermal Reference Source) needs to be set up. Ensure the TRS unit is
within the sight of the camera unit and can be seen within the screens.

4.3.1 Setting the TRS
1. Select “Set TRS”. Except for the thermal image, the rest of the screen should be greyed out. You will
see a white box overlaying on the thermal screen. Locate the TRS on the thermal screen, ensure the
TRS is within the white box. If the TRS is not within sight, adjust the position of the TRS or the camera
unit.
2. Once ready, select the center of the TRS (appear as a round spot). Try to be as precise as you can.
3. When done correctly, the screen should now have a blue background and a healthy person will now
appear greenish.
4. Select “Done” on top of the screen. From now on, do not move the camera or the TRS.
5. Select the “LOGOUT” button on the virtual keypad to exit the operating menu.
The system saves the last used setup, but you may need to perform this step again in the following
situation:
• A new deployed unit
• The TRS or camera unit has been shifted
