03 - Getting Started
3.1 Powering up
Upon initial power up, the system will require 15 to 30 minutes to settle down. If the environment is
challenging, it may take up to 45 minutes to stabilize. System readiness is indicated by the status bar
displayed on the bottom left of the screen. Red indicates the system is not ready for operation, yellow shows
the system is operational but not at its peak performance. The system will be at its optimal performance when
the status bar is constantly on green.

3.2 User Interface
In most cases, the Sentry MK4 MFSS comes bundled with a touchscreen monitor and an easy to use user
interface. You should take the time to familiarize yourself with the user interface. If a compatible touchscreen
monitor is unavailable, a regular HDMI monitor/TV and USB mouse can be used.
