Adjusting flash output

Flash intensity control)
Flash output can be adjusted if you find that your subject to appears overexposed, or is
underexposed even though the exposure in the rest of the frame is just right.

Flash intensity control
•
This setting has no effect when the flash control mode for the external flash unit is set to
MANUAL.
•
Changes to flash intensity made with the external flash unit are added to those made with
the camera.
Processing options
(Picture Mode)
Choose how pictures are processed during shooting to enhance color, tone, and other
properties. Choose from preset picture modes according to your subject or artistic
intent. Contrast, sharpness, and other settings can be adjusted separately for each
mode. You can also add artistic effects using art filters. Art filters give you the option
of added frame effects and the like. Adjustments to individual parameters are stored
separately for each picture mode and art filter.
• This item applies during both still photography and movie recording.
