Make sure that the battery compartment door is closed correctly, and that an 
acquisition module has been installed on the OmniScan MX.

To restore the instrument’s original finish, clean the casing and module with a soft 
cloth.

5.

To remove persistent stains, use a damp cloth with a mild, soapy solution. Do not 
use abrasive products or powerful solvents, which could damage the finish.

6.

Once the connector protectors are removed, make sure the connectors are dry 
before connecting anything else to them. If they are wet, dry them with a soft, dry 
cloth, or let them air dry.

9.2.2

LCD Screen Protector Cleaning

Never use abrasive products or powerful solvents to clean the OmniScan MX screen. 
Clean the screen using a damp cloth moistened with windshield washer fluid. If you 
do not have windshield washer fluid, use a standard, evaporating glass cleaner. If 
necessary, remove any paper-towel residue with a soft-bristle brush.
