Detecting Sub-Surface Cracks Using Dual Frequency in a Lap Splice
with Anodized and Alodine Rivets — NORTEC 600D Model
The procedure in this section uses the dual frequency and mix channel functions to
help reduce undesirable signal variations caused by various fastener types during the
detection of subsurface cracks in aircraft lap splices.
Inspection materials are shown in Figure 5-114 on page 202.
