Troubleshooting: MV-1/MV-2 Control Panel (Cont’d)

Ensure the MV-1/MV-2 control panel is operating properly. If necessary, replace the MV-1/MV-2 control
panel.

Check the ribbon cables within the MV-1/MV-2 to be sure that they are connected properly and are not
loose.

Troubleshooting: Returning the Unit for Repair

If the MV-1/MV-2 Endoscope Disinfectors must be returned to Medivators, Inc. for repair or replacement,
contact Olympus by calling telephone # 1-800-848-9024. Choose the appropriate prompt for connection to
Medivators, Inc.

A “Hot Swap” will be performed, which means that Medivators, Inc. will provide the facility with a loaner unit to
replace the disabled MV-1/MV-2 until the unit is either repaired or replaced. Medivators, Inc. will provide
shipping instructions.
