6 Menu operations and functions

Inputting a title

The following are the two methods that can be used to input a title. 

Input text from the on-screen keyboard

Selecting a preset title for input

Input text from the on-screen keyboard

Select the input mode and then short-press the [ENT/MENU] button. 

The indicator for the selected input mode lights.

Select text from the on-screen keyboard, and then short-press the [ENT/
MENU] button. 

The characters you input appear in the title input box. Edit the text as required. 

To delete characters

To delete a single character, move the cursor to it, select [DELETE], and then short-press the 
[ENT/MENU] button. 

To delete all input characters, select [DELETE ALL] and then short-press the [ENT/MENU] button. 

To insert characters

Move the cursor to the location where you want to insert the character, select the character in 
the on-screen keyboard, and then short-press the [ENT/MENU] button. 

To input a space

Move the cursor to the location where you want to input the space, select the [SPACE] button, 
and then short-press the [ENT/MENU] button. 

To input a serial number

Operate the [W] / [T] buttons to the left and right to move the cursor to the serial number input 
box. Operate the [BRT 

] / [BRT 

] buttons up and down to enter the desired numerical 

value for each digit.

Display language selection

Specifies the language used for menus and messages. 
English and other languages are supported. The default is 
"English". 
See "Changing the display language" (P. 40). 

TV FORMAT

Change of TV format

NTSC:  Display in NTSC format. 
PAL:  Display in PAL format.
