9.5 Replacing the fuse

CAUTION:

l

To prevent the electric shock, turn OFF the power of the product, remove the external battery
case from the drum unit, remove the external battery from the case, and then replace the
fuse.

l

Be sure to use the specified fuse. Using a fuse other than the specified one may cause fire.

1.

Open the latch of the external battery case and remove the external batteries (8 units)
from the case.

2.

Rotate the fuse holder counterclockwise and remove it from the case.

3.

Replace the one fuse with a new one.

Fuse model number: Littelfuse 0215005.MXP

Fuse rating: T 5A H 250V

Fuse size: 5×20 mm

Number of fuses required: One

If the fuse is blown out, obtain the product with the model number described above and
replace with the old one. If it is difficult to obtain the product with the model number
described above, use the product that complies with IEC 60127-2 Standard Sheet 5 and also
meets the rating and size described above.

4.

Rotate the fuse holder clockwise and set it to the original position.
