Measuring the distance to the measurement area by spot
ranging

The spot ranging measures the distance between the distal end of the stereo optical adapter
and the measurement area on the live screen and the freeze screen.
Press the [MEAS/OK] joystick or push the [ZOOM] lever downward while the live screen or freeze
screen is displayed.
The spot ranging screen is displayed.

TIP

●

The spot ranging is not available while recording the movie.

●

The live image on the spot ranging screen is displayed only in the binocular view.

●

Pressing the [FRZ/REC] button on the spot ranging screen in the live view mode freezes

the spot ranging screen.

●

The ZOOM function is not available during spot ranging.

●

The audio recording function cannot be used for still image recording during spot ranging.

the cursor in the left image area.
The object distance indicator shows the
distance between the distal end of the stereo
optical adapter and the measurement area in
nine levels.
