Chapter 5 Menu operations and functions
„ Modify/clear title
• In the thumbnail screen, the title of the image selected with the thumbnail
selection frame is shown in the title display area. When the title input window
is opened and the title or serial number is entered now, the title or serial
number of the selected thumbnail image will be updated.
• In the retrieve screen, the title of the retrieved image is shown in the title
display area. When the title input window is opened and the title or serial
number is entered now, the title or serial number of the image being retrieved
will be updated.
„ Delete image
Images can be deleted from a recording card (CF card), internal memory, or
USB memory.
CAUTION
•
If the recording card is removed during the image deletion process, the data in the card may
be destroyed. Never attempt to remove the recording card while deleting images.
Deleting images in the thumbnail screen

In the thumbnail screen, tilt the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick to select
the image to be deleted by moving the thumbnail selection frame.
To delete multiple images, mark the images you want to delete in the following
procedure.
(1) Select the images to delete with the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
(2) Press the [BRT S ] button to mark the selected images. “ 9 ” is displayed.
(3) Repeat steps (1) and (2) to mark all the images to delete.
(4) If you mark an image that you do not want to delete, press the [BRT S ]
button again while the image is selected to remove the mark.

After selecting the image you want to delete, press the [MENU/EXIT]
button to display the menu.
