If this product is operated continuously for a long time period, the foreign objects, etc. attached to the inside
of camera may be reflected to the observed image. If the attachment of foreign objects is suspected, contact
Olympus.
However, if you intend to operate this product continuously for a long time period, it is recommended to
apply the patch file (to this product) that suppresses the generation of foreign objects.

Controller:
The controller data may be lost (corrupted) unexpectedly. Back up your data frequently.
Use the controller specified by Olympus.
An air vent is placed on every side of the controller. Do not block the air vent to prevent the system failure.
For details of the controller, refer to the instruction manual provided with the controller.
Do not use the accessories, such as cables, etc. that are not described in this instruction manual.
Olympus is not liable for any damage (including compensation for the corrupted controller data) caused by
the use or the incapability of use of this product.

has been installed on the controller of this product.
Be sure to backup Microsoft
®
Windows
®
yourself and keep it in a safe place. (Olympus does not support the
backup of your system data).

The operating system supports Japanese and English only.
The controller is dedicated to this system. If you add hardware which is not specified by Olympus to the
controller, the system operation is not guaranteed.
If you use other applications while operating this system, the system operation is not guaranteed.
If you set the themes other than standards to the Windows
®
desktop, the application screen may not be
displayed properly or the printing may not be performed properly.
If you use the controller of which operations are not checked by Olympus, the correct operation of the
product is not guaranteed. For more information of controller models of which operations have been checked
by Olympus, contact Olympus.
It is recommended to change your password regularly as a security measure.
Olympus does not support your connecting to a LAN. If you would like to connect this product to a LAN, you
need to connect it yourself.
If you use this system by connecting to the network, the system may not be operated properly due to the
following problems.

Virus infection via network
・
Malfunction caused by applying OS service pack, security patch, or updating third party application
including runtime libraries
・
The acquired images are missing or the acquisition process is delayed or stopped due to the overloaded
system which is caused by running the antivirus software, etc.
It is strongly recommended to backup the controller (Windows 10 system) after installing the basic software
DSX10-BSW in case of unexpected abnormality on the controller due to network connection.
If any abnormality occurs, disconnect the controller from the network, restore the system and confirm that the
system works properly.
