3.6 Prevention of injury
CAUTION
Do not put your hands in the lower part of the microscope frame. Your hands or fingers could be
pinched.
Be careful not to pinch your hands in the microscope frame or cut your hands with the edge of the
system.
The zoom head moves up and down electrically when starting or shutting down the microscope,
focusing on the sample, or moving the zoom head to the focus position at the time of replacing the lens
attachment. Do not put your hands around the objectives. Your hands or fingers could be pinched.
Do not touch the motorized stage while it is moving. Your hands or fingers could be pinched in the
stage or the stage holder.
Be careful not to pinch your fingers or hands between the stage and the microscope frame when
installing the manual stage.
If you hook your fingers in the open hole of the stage, your fingers may get injured.
Do not touch the zoom head mount of the microscope. Your fingers could be pinched.
While using the polarized illumination adapter, do not touch the polarized illumination adapter except
the adjustment lever. The temperature around the polarized illumination adapter becomes high, causing
you to get burns.
Before attaching or detaching the polarized illumination adapter, turn OFF the LED ring light
illumination to lower the temperature around the polarized illumination adapter.
If you are using the controller (vertically installed), attach the provided tower stand to the controller to
prevent the controller from overturning.
If you are using the controller (vertically installed), install the controller with the surface having rubber
legs facing down.
If the liquid crystal panel is damaged, do not touch the damaged parts with bare hands.
If you touched the damaged parts by mistake, wash your hands thoroughly.
If the leaked liquid crystal enters your mouth or eyes by mistake, rinse them thoroughly and see the
doctor immediately. Failure to do so could result in poisoning.
