Introduction

This manual provides instructions for assembling, installing, and operating the
ChainSCANNER. The ChainSCANNER is a manual pipe inspection scanner for
outside pipe diameters ranging from 45 mm to 965 mm (1.75 in. to 38 in.). The
ChainSCANNER allows encoding the position on the two axes.

This manual is organized to allow a progressive understanding of the scanner’s
different functions. Each section, however, is complete in itself. This manual is
therefore a useful reference.
