Turning the camera on in playback mode

Slide the POWER switch to

• The camera turns on in playback mode. The last picture taken is displayed on the

monitor.

To turn the camera off

→

Slide the

POWER

switch to OFF. The monitor turns off.

To enable shooting mode

→

Slide the

POWER

switch to

, pressing and holding the lock button. The lens

extends, and shooting mode is enabled. Slide the

POWER

switch to

to playback mode. The lens remains extended.

Note

• When the power is turned on, sometimes the monitor flashes before displaying

the picture. This is not a malfunction.

• To save battery power, the camera turns off automatically if not used for 3

minutes.
