Æ
Slide and fan the bank notes in the bundle so that the
top bank note is somewhat lower than the one following.
Insert the bank notes in the infeed tray as illustrated
(
5-A).
Or
Æ
insert the bundle vertically in the infeed tray and push
the bundle to the rear so that the bank notes shift against
each other (
5-B).
Ê
The counting process starts up automatically.
Bank notes which are inserted incorrectly, as illus
trated in
5-C and
5-D lead to an improp
er count or malfunction.
Since the security features of bank notes are
provided on both sides, the process for detecting
counterfeit notes is performed reliably on both sides.
Positioning the Rubber Tongue
The rubber tongue in the infeed tray provides the ne
cessary resistance to ensure the bank notes are drawn
in individually. The rubber tongue can become worn
after a time. This can lead to incorrect results.
When the rubber tongue is only slightly worn, it may be
sufficient to readjust its height (
6). The clearance
between the rubber tongue and infeed rollers should be
0.5 mm.
