Putting the Telephone into Operation

INSERTING THE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES

DECT 5000

Inserting the Rechargeable Batteries

The handset can only work when the rechargeable batteries have been inserted properly�

The rechargeable batteries (2 x AAA cell, 1�2 V) are included in the material supplied with the

telephone package�

Remove the battery compartment cover from the handset� Use the recess in the battery

compartment cover on the underside of the handset�

Insert the batteries in the handset battery compartment as illustrated�

Replace the battery compartment cover on the handset� The battery compartment cover

latches audibly in place�

CAUTION! Risk of explosion through improper replacement or removal of the
batteries!

Only use the rechargeable batteries supplied and only replace the

rechargeable batteries with a type approved by the manufacturer�
