15. Insert an A4 sheet and the printer will print the correct values
(see example on side).

Always check the value "MICR ADJ RES": OK This value is of great importance; it certifies that the MICR head
is working correctly.
17. Proceed to check the JITTER.
Checking the JITTER
1. At the end of the procedure for calibrating the MICR,
all the LEDs on the printer will be illuminated.
2. Insert the JITTER board , code XYAB4581, being careful to keep the magnetic band of the board in a horizontal
position, oriented downwards and aligned completely to the left.
3. The printer performs a magnetic transaction.

Re-insert the JITTER board with the magnetic band in a horizontal position, oriented downwards and aligned
with the centre.
5. The printer performs a magnetic transaction.

For the third time, insert the JITTER board with the magnetic band in a horizontal position, oriented downwards
and aligned completely to the right.
7. The printer performs a magnetic transaction.
8.
Insert an A4 sheet.
9. The calibration values are printed (Magnetic Test) - Refer to the figure on the following page.
10.
Check that the result of the tests is OK for all the measurements.
11. Switch off the printer.
NOTE: if only the Horizontal Magnetic option is present, during the calibration phase the printer requests
only testing of the JITTER.
