Adjusting the height of the guide support for the original glass moving unit

This adjustment must be made in the following case:
• Only when original jam, bend, or tilt occurred during original feeding by ADF.

1.

Adjust the guide support for the orig-
inal glass moving unit by rotating the 
small screws (one on the near side 
and one on the far side) with the 
hexagon wrench (1.5 mm) to adjust
the height.

Turning clockwise: Up
Turning counterclockwise: Down

NOTE
• Feed a paper with ADF, and adjust 

so that no original jam, bending, or 
tilt will occur.
