MAINTENANCE

B. Reinstall procedure

1.

Temporarily secure the scanner 
motor assy [1] with three screws [2].

2.

With the scanner drive gear set 
screw [1] located on the right-hand 
side as shown on the left, slide the 
scanner motor assy [2] to the left and 
check that it is returned to the origi-
nal position by the tension of the 
spring [3]. 
Perform this step three times.

3.

Turn the pulley and make sure that 
the belt does not ride up on the pul-
ley teeth.

4.

Tighten the three screws [4] to fix the 
scanner motor assy into position.

Remove the scanner rear cover.

Remove the scanner upper rear cover /1 and scanner upper rear cover /2.

Disconnect the connector [1].
