4. PERIODICAL MAINTENANCE PROCEDURE

MAINTENANCE

Remove two screws [1], and remove
the toner supply duct [2].

Open the package [1] of the new
developing unit/K from the part
shown on the left.

Place the new developing unit/K
upside down together with its pack-
age.

Remove the tape [1] and the mount-
ing member [2] for the new develop-
ing unit/K.

Set two springs [1] for mounting and
the shutter [2] included to the new
developing unit/K.
