7. Removing protective tape, packing and
other shipping materials

(1) Remove the protective tape and the protective

materials.

(2) Open the automatic document feeder (DF) and

remove the protective tape and protective ma-
terial.

(3) Remove the protective tape and the protective

sheet.

(4) Open the front door.
