17.3.1

Timing roller control

• A loop is formed in the paper when it is conveyed between the feed roller and the timing

roller. The loop corrects skew in the paper.

• The timing roller clutch is controlled to synchronize the timing of image writing with the

timing when the paper reaches the timing roller.
